Elisa Tinker is the mother of three young adult children. She has a son, a daughter, and a non-binary child. Her non-binary child never “came out” but showed outwardly in many ways by the age of three that they did not identify as one binary gender. PFLAG was a fantastic resource and support as Elisa learned more about how to support her gender-non-conforming child. 

Elisa currently serves on the Board at PFLAG Danville - San Ramon as Community Educator, delivering presentations throughout our community on gender outside the binary and how to support LGBTQ+ individuals. She also collaborates with staff at the SRVUSD and at school sites to build a more inclusive and equitable culture in our schools.
