Krista Glaser

Membership

Krista is a proud member of the LGBTQ community. She and her wife live in Danville and are raising their elementary-aged son.

Krista holds a B.A. in Political Science and Feminist, Gender and Sexuality Studies from Stanford University, and a J.D. with a concentration in Public Interest Law from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. While in law school, she served as the Co-President of OUTLaw, the LGBTQ student organization, and she advocated for the rights of LGBTQ people while working at Positive Resource Center, Legal Aid at Work, and as the Tom Steel Fellow at Equality California.

As an attorney, Krista served as the Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellow and Program Director at OneJustice, building nonprofit capacity and connecting law students to pro bono work and public interest careers.

Krista moved to Danville in 2014 and has served as the Greenbrook Mothers Group President, Greenbrook PTA’s Inclusion and Diversity Chair, Parliamentarian, and President. She will soon become the San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs Vice-President for Family Engagement after serving as the Council Inclusion and Diversity Chair for the last two years. She also sits on the Steering Committee of the San Ramon Valley Diversity Coalition, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District’s Culture and Climate Committee, and Equity Advisory Council.

Krista loves traveling with her family, reading a good New Yorker article, and trying to train a rambunctious puppy named Chester.
